#GivingTuesday

Today is #GivingTuesday, so make sure to support your favorite local, regional and national charities. Baltimore donated more than any other city that was tracked last year, so make sure to keep Charm City #1. Check out BmoreEvents and Bmore Gives More for information about how to donate.

You can also stop by the #GivingTuesday Winter Block Party tonight from 5-8pm at the National Federation of the Blind.

“It’s fairly small,” Ambrose said. “I feel I need to say that as much as possible. I want it to feel like a warm, neighborhood bar. We want to keep things as fun as possible.”

1157 Bar and Kitchen will open in early December, just over a year since Ambrose purchased the rowhouse property. Ambrose said the menu at 1157 will consist mostly of small plates and sandwiches, along with a few entrees
